Humanity has measured time for centuries, all without electronics. We honor that and make Mechanica Orbit runs with no electronics—powered by a custom-made steel mainspring, transmitted through, gears, and two rotating axes.
I was a lover of hand wind mechanical alarm clock since I was young. I was so happy to own the Mechanica Tourbillon ( MT ) a replica of the old alarm clock. The rhythm and the circular movement locus of each components in this MT are just superb and soothing. This is a marvellous creation to illustrate how a stored energy in the winding coil is converted into kinetic energy and frictional losses. Very pround to own this MT.
